Cozy Beach Maternity Session at Washington Oaks in Palm Coast, Florida

This cozy beach maternity session at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park was especially meaningful for me. Sabrina and Chance are past wedding clients of mine and getting to photograph them again as they prepare to welcome their first baby truly felt full circle.

As a Florida maternity photographer, I love documenting families as they grow, especially when I have already been part of documenting their love story. From wedding day to parenthood, these are the seasons that deserve to be preserved in a way that feels natural, emotional and true.

Sabrina and Chance envisioned maternity photos that felt calm, intimate and cozy, with the beach as a soft backdrop rather than something overly styled or dramatic. Washington Oaks is one of my favorite Palm Coast maternity photography locations because it offers a quieter, more romantic coastal setting. The coquina rock shoreline, neutral tones and gentle movement of the ocean create timeless beach maternity photos that feel organic and connected.

One of my favorite parts of this maternity session was how thoughtfully Sabrina and Chance incorporated a personal detail that reflects who they are. They are avid aviation enthusiasts and Sabrina included a tiny airplane painted on one of her nails. It was subtle, meaningful and such a sweet nod to a shared passion that will now be part of their growing family’s story. These small details are what make maternity sessions feel deeply personal and special years later.

Throughout their Palm Coast maternity session, we focused on real connection over stiff posing. This documentary approach allows maternity photos to feel relaxed, emotional and authentic.
